Dark Starr was originally set up as a Roy Orbison tribute band. After a few gigs it became clear that the band had a lot more variety to offer. Over the years the line up has changed and the set list has developed, now encompassing music from five decades.

The best thing about classic tracks is that they keep resurfacing when a new artist gets the bug and covers them - as a result we sometimes find ourselves playing 'current' material, it even keeps the youngest audience happy at times.

Our set contains a range of music from rock 'n' roll through to rock and pop, with the vast majority of the music we play coming from the rock 'n' roll years of the fifties and sixties. We tailor our set to fit the occasion, click on the decade links to get an idea of the sort of music we play.

If you have a particular style of music in mind we can produce a set list to fit - Beatles, Blues/Rock, sixties etc.
