Ironically titled school band 'Childhood's End' followed soon after, playing school assemblies and events. This was hotly pursued by another band 'Out of Bounds' which was really the same band but with better fashion sense (this was the eighties mind...). Out of Bounds played more events and school do's and then one live gig before they all left school. During that time they recorded in studios many times (Von's in Islington, Air in Catford, Monroe's in Barnet etc.) and sadly have nothing to show for it now.
Moving to university, many musical projects 'happened', free jazz odyssies, acoustic, blues and rock. Eventually a band was formed - 'Dangerous Fish' (most of them were reading marine biology) which gigged around the student scene, including the notorious Treborth Free Festival of '90. The band split in 1992 (ish) at both their highest and lowest points; the highest point was the alternative graduation bash playing to 400, the lowest was the Malvern Venture Scouts benefit gig playing to 3!
Nick then realised that there was much more money to be made from Juggling, which he moved into with a vengeance, wowing the crowds in youth clubs all over North Wales. Like all of the really top class guitarists, Nick continued in the game by teaching.
In 2002 Nick was described on a website as a 'passable guitarist' (cheers Dave L.) which gave him the necessary impetus to try all over again. The opportunity arose in late summer when Gary asked him to come along and meet the band. The rest as they say, hasn't happened yet.
